Horses

Because of their size and strength, people who dont know much about them often misunderstand horses. They often assume horses require little care - just stick them in a field and they'll be fine. They also tend to underestimate the safety aspects of being around horses - safety for both horse and human. Finally, many novice horse people, and even some experienced ones, don't understand horse behaviour and communication and so handle the horse inappropriately. BOOK OF THE MONTH
