It is effective indoors and outdoors as it is oil-based and will not be washed away by the rain. In seventy-two hours using Train-UM and following the instructions, you can train your puppy to "go" in the place of your choosing. Place several drops of Train UM on newspaper or in a box. After each of the first few meals, take your dog to the spot and allow him to sniff Train-UM. He will then soon train himself. Oil based liquid contains fatty acids that duplicate the smell of a sexual hormone which attract your pet to "that spot". This oil based liquid is suitable for indoors and outdoors.
